About Flagler Baptist Church
In the year 1911, the Grace Chapel Car was moved on to a siding just west of the Flagler Depot. (This car is currently on display on the grounds at Green Lake Wisconsin). It was from the interest and evangelism of people who attended services in the Chapel Car, that the decision was made to establish a Baptist Church in Flagler. On June 30, 1918 the church was organized and the building began. Flagler Baptist Church continues to persuade and assist people to become mature children of God, to live our lives with Jesus Christ as the Head and the Bible as our authority. We seek to preach the Gospel, teach the Scriptures, spread the Word of God and worship together. Flagler is a small farming and ranching community located near the Kansas border just off I-70.
